He died at 47. Now he’s finally living.
Alex Palmer has led a thoroughly ordinary life—right up until the moment Truck-kun sends him flying into a nondenominational afterlife lobby. There, a galaxy psychopomp offers him three options: reincarnation, retirement… or Isekai Mode, complete with respawns, classes, HUD abilities, and a world that runs on patch notes.
Alex chooses adventure.
One step through a glowing doorway drops him into a battlefield between red-skinned goblins and three young adventurers. After surviving his own crater-impact landing, Alex discovers his HUD Sense, improvised weapons, and gamer instincts actually work here—and the women he helps, Albertine, Saki, and Esmee, bring him into the bizarre, bug-ridden fantasy realm of Serverheim.
In Serverheim, adventurers complain about nerfed drop rates on public boards, respawn in glowing orbs after cooldowns, and treat world-altering glitches like weather reports.
When a simple fetch quest reveals a secret scroll announcing a higher-tier dungeon event beneath their feet, Alex and his new team take the plunge. They barely make it out alive... but with loot, experience, and a taste for danger.
As they rise from F-Tier nobodies the party tackles corrupted dungeons, glitch creatures, and personal trials. Albertine struggles under her grandfather’s legendary shadow, Esmee turns her Floral Explosion magic into a full tactical toolkit, and Saki begins viewing Alex as the mentor she never had.
From battling code-spawned Patch Golems, to defending a festival from escaped monsters, to teaming up with the fierce Armorer Adept Savannah Haladay, the Debuggers rise through the ranks, earning fame, promotions, and dangerous new assignments.
